I bought this car while in my first year in college. I paid $300.00 from Fischer Buick. I had to make payments. My friend Alvin Ficher's dad owned the dealership. On ocassion we would drive up to Randsburg and drive the new Opels to Lancaster. Teenagers... we raced them back. We were breaking them in for the new owner.

I lowered it, removed the hood ornament and added Olds Fiesta hubcaps. They were really popular back them. You sometimes still see them on cars at car shows.

I would love to find one, 49 four door fastback Chevy. Yeah baby!
