~ Michel Lange 1636 -1699 ~
Michel's WikiTree Page.

Michel was born in Crottendorf, Sachsen (Saxony), Germany on Annaberger straße (road). His wife, Rosina Hubrig, was born the same year in apparently the same location. She died in 1690. They had one son, Paul Lang (AKA Lange). He was born Jan 27, 1666 in the same place as well, and died there May 27, 1720 at the age of 54.

Paul married Regina Meyer November 15, 1705. She was born in 1670, and died November 17, 1751. And yep!, Same darn place. They had one son, Johann Christian Lang. He was born in Markheidenfeld, Main-Spessart, Bayern,(Bavaria) Germany, March 18, 1708 and died May 1, 1755 in Gamburg, Main-Tauber-Kreis, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. Even thou his parents lived and Died in Crottendorf, they apparently decided to give birth to Johann in Gamburg... maybe they moved there for a short spell. Then again maybe they went to live with parents for help with the birth. Another Ling History mystery. One of many

Johann married Maria Elizabeth Schonherr, She was born in Crottendorf September 13, 1711 and died there in 1795. They had two sons, Johann Christian Lang and Anton 'Anthony' Ling. Here is where the last name changed to Ling. Apparently it went from Lange to Lang and then Ling. I have been the profile manager up to this point.

Antons Father, Johann Christian Lange aka Lang, is managed by Joshua Ling up to Michel Lange. Michel's father, Christoph Langk, is managed by Lisa Burkett. She added Jorg "Georg" Langk, and his father Nicolaus Langk

More to the mystery... Nicol sen. (sr.) Langk 1469, had one son Nicol jun. (jr.) Langk 1499. He too had one son, Nicolaus Langk 1529. Nicolaus had one son as well, Jorg-George Langk 1557, he had two sons. Christoph 1578 and Paulus 1581. Christoph, our link, had 3 sons, Christoph 1616, Christian 1618 and Michel (our link). None of this has been confirmed as far as I can see, but if it is on WikiTree without exception it must be true... hopefully. It is also on the Church of Later Day Saints website, FamilySearch.
